Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Every Playable Character CONFIRMED So Far

Overview: Venom was confirmed alongside Captain Marvel and Storm in the February Nintendo Direct.

Venom's identity is constantly changing, but it seems like he'll be Eddie Brock in this game. Eddie inherited the symbiote after Spider-Man rejected it. That started a rivalry that occasionally devolves into a reluctant friendship.

Nowadays, Venom is largely portrayed as an antihero that's more heroic than he is villainous. An odd direction for the character that literally relies on a symbiotic relationship with itself, but it seems to be working out.

Abilities: Since his symbiote used to inhabit Spider-Man's body, Venom has all of his powers in addition to his own shapeshifting and camouflage. Think of Venom as the powerhouse version of Spider-Man.

In-Game: Venom's gameplay is expected to revolve around using his claws and tendrils to deliver powerful close and long-range attacks.
