7. Ryu

Ryu may not have much new to offer, but there's no arguing that he had to appear in Infinite. He's the poster boy for Capcom after all.

Ryu's gameplay appears to be the exact same as it always has been; long range hadoukens, close range shoryukens and Hyper Combos that boost the power of these moves tenfold. There isn't much to talk about with Ryu because he is such a staple of the fighting genre and doesn't really have much variation beyond that.

The biggest piece of news to come recently is that people who pre-order the game will receive the 'Evil Ryu' alternate skin. This is great news for fans of the character, and almost definitely a reference to how the character just got introduced to Street Fighter 2.
