Marvel's Avengers: 10 DLC Characters Who MUST Appear

6. Ant-Man & The Wasp

Captain America Wolverine
Marvel Comics

Ant-Man and the Wasp don’t necessarily need to be a package deal, but it does make sense to lump them both together here. Plus, having them as an in game duo means more interaction for the pair of them, and potentially a greater range of missions and tasks.

It’s perhaps slightly cheating to include Ant-Man, seeing as Hank Pym appeared in the trailer. However, there was no hint that he was part of the Avengers, or even a superhero yet. Wasp, meanwhile, didn’t appear at all.

It’s the Hank Pym version of the character we’ve seen, meaning Janet Van Dyne will be the Wasp. This is Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfieffer in the MCU, rather than the Scott Lang/Paul Rudd and Hope van Dyne/Evangeline Lilly characters.

It took the MCU a while to introduce Ant-Man and the Wasp, and longer to integrate them (especially Wasp) into the team. Fans only concerned with the films may be surprised then to know that both Ant-Man and the Wasp were founder Avengers in the comics.

With this in mind and Hank’s trailer cameo, these two seem nailed on to feature. With a live service model though, they may be held back as the first big DLC.
