Marvel's Avengers: 10 Reasons You Should Be Worried

7. Issues With Loot

Perhaps one of the worst things about Marvel's Avengers is how loot is handled throughout the game. It's unfulfilling and largely forgettable, and having to constantly stop during levels to physically pick it up quickly becomes tiresome. That slows proceedings down significantly, and makes the already tiresome levels drag.

Ultimately, these meaningless stat improvements do little to change the experience of playing the game, and they're so tiny that you'll likely be unaware of how your character is even changing.

Even worse is the fact that when you do equip a new item, nothing about what you're seeing on screen actually changes or evolves. Ms. Marvel is a great example of that as you'll frequently find new wristbands and shirt logos for her which don't make any sort of difference to how she looks (the same applies to Iron Man and his armour upgrades).

If The Witcher 3 could pull this off five years ago, why can't Marvel's Avengers in 2020? It's lazy, and a pretty dire sign of things to come.
