Marvel's Avengers Collector's Edition UNBOXING

What's inside the fanciest edition of Marvel's Avengers?

Marvel's Avengers Collector's Edition
Square Enix

With Marvel's Avengers launching this week, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the game's collector's edition, courtesy of Square Enix and The Academy. It's an impressive bundle for sure.

The full package includes a ton of goodies for Marvel fans to dig into, including a statue of Captain America, a Thor keychain, a Black Widow belt buckle, a Hulk bobble head, some Iron Man blueprints and - my personal two favourites - an "Honorary Avenger" pin and fan photo from A-Day, with a little message from Kamala Khan on the back.

All items are inspired by in-game events and locales, with Kamala wearing the Honorary Avenger pin in her first DIY outfit, which is a nice added touch.

The edition also comes with a steelbook, which includes the game, the Obsidian outfit pack AND a free month of Marvel Unlimited - Marvel's own subscription service that grants access to near enough their entire library of comics.

You can watch the full unboxing video below, in which I fumble may way through the lovingly assembled (ay) box and give my thoughts on each item. Be sure to check back later for our full review of the game, as well as coverage on easter eggs, post-launch content, and a special edition of the WhatCulture Gaming podcast dedicated to the title.

Content Producer/Presenter

WhatCulture's very own resident movie guy, Ewan has been working in the content creation biz for over 10 years now, having started as a freelance contributor to WhatCulture Gaming all the way back in 2015. After graduating with a First-Class Honours in History from Northumbria University in 2017 (where he won a prize for a totally killer dissertation on the Watergate years), Ewan took on the role of Comics Editor at WhatCulture and quickly developed WhatCulture Comics into one of the biggest superhero-focused channels on YouTube. He followed this with a brief hiatus at Screen Rant in 2021, where he worked across the Gaming and Film sections as a writer and editor, before returning to WhatCulture as a Senior Content Producer / Presenter in 2023. He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well. In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
