Marvel's Spider-Man: 16 Completely Pointless Details (That Will Blow Your Mind)

3. Every Enemy Thrown Over A Ledge Survives

Fun fact: Back in the 2000 PS1 game, Marvel really didn't like the idea of Spider-Man killing anyone, so even if you dropkicked them off a building to the ground below, developers Neversoft had to add a sound effect of the guard in question groaning, so you knew they were alive.

After 18 years, that mentality holds true. Of course, Spider-Man doesn't kill people anyway, but launch anyone off a building, follow them down and you'll see a trip mine activate and stick them to the nearest wall.

To be honest, it means firefighters and/or police will have a nightmare detaching people from the middle of 70 storey skyscrapers, but at least they're not dead. Spidey's webbing is said to dissolve after two hours though, meaning scores of thugs drop to the ground before they can be rescued.

Maybe J. Jonah Jameson is right, and Spider-Man IS a menace after all?
