MASS EFFECT 3: Fans Vote on 'Fem-Shepard's' Default Look

In a victorious move for sexual equality: BioWare offers fans the chance to vote on the default appearance of FemShep to be used in future trailers.

If, like myself, you played through the first two Mass Effect titles as a female Commander Shepard (known affectionately as 'FemShep' among the fans), you may well be getting sick and tired of seeing the default male Shepard on every trailer, package and merchandise piece for the upcoming third installment. Well, fear not. With Mass Effect 3, developers BioWare have taken our lady Commander very seriously. They've already going as far as suggesting she'll be present in a few yet-to-come trailers and even securing a place on completed box art. Score one for the girls! More interestingly still, BioWare has put it to the fans to decide what the default appearance of 'FemShep' will actually be, offering six flavours to select from on Facebook. Click the link, stop by and make your vote now. Who knows, maybe your choice will be the one taking a shot at the Reapers in the next big trailer.
