Mass Effect 4: 10 New Things We Learned From Comic-Con

1. Co-Op Multiplayer

The online multiplayer of Mass Effect 3 was a fun, if slightly unnecessary, distraction. Up to four players were able to team up against waves of Cerberus, Collector or Geth forces, with progress tied directly with rewards for the Mass Effect 3: Galaxy At War feature. As expected, BioWare have all but officially confirmed that multiplayer will be returning to the series, stating that co-operative multiplayer was "bigger" than competitive. Whether this means another wave-based mode or a full blown co-op campaign is not yet known, but multiplayer will most certainly be coming to the game in some shape or form. Despite Michael Gamble saying that his team is prioritising co-op, it's interesting that he mentioned competitive multiplayer at all. Elcor versus Hanar deathmatch anyone? Is there anything you're hoping to see in Mass Effect 4? Are there any details given here that have disappointed you? As always, feel free to join the discussion below!
