One of the few things we know about Mass Effect 4 is that it will be bigger than any of the previous games in terms of its sheer size and scope. Heavier emphasis will be on exploring, which means grander environments full of things to discover.

Promises have been made about hundreds of solar systems and being able to land and explore planets without loading screens. Basically, Mass Effect 4 is expected to be huge, vast, and all encompassing. While there is no reason not to believe them based on how big Dragon Age: Inquisition was, it would still be great to see those promises demonstrated before your eyes.

Exploring the expansive cosmos has long been one of the most compelling elements of the Mass Effect games, but it has always been limited by the constraints of technology. Such a reveal would be hugely significant; a statement on Bioware’s priorities to delivering a Mass Effect game like no other.
