13. Liara T'Soni's Audio Logs

One of the most overt ties to the original trilogy, Liara T'Soni pops up as part of the Ryder family backstory, present in multiple audio logs that discuss how she's bound by her current trajectory of hunting Prothean tech and investigating the Reapers.

Being the audio logs are set in between Mass Effect 2 and 3, they can be further pinpointed by the fact Liara is yet to become the Shadow Broker - unless she's addressing you through voice modulators, as was assumed when she took the position.

Either way, in the Andromeda timeline, Liara and the entire crew of the Normandy are long gone, so it's pretty neat to find these connections still tucked away in storage.
