11. Garrus' Father & Shepard Story

It seems Alec Ryder was most likely right next to us during the original trilogy, as so many characters appeared to also have dealings with him this whole time.

Case in point, Garrus' father, Castis, can be found discussing a certain important matter with Alec during one of the optional memory recalls. During this, he discusses Garrus working with Shepard, and how the team have stumbled upon something regarding the then-mysterious 'Reapers'.

The whole conversation is fascinating if you were looking for more direct ties to the first three games, and if nothing else, it's one hell of a nostalgic throwback to the timeline just after Mass Effect 1, when the mysteries of the galaxy were very much still regarded as such.
