Mass Effect Andromeda: 9 Overlooked Positives Nobody Wants To Admit

9. Combat Is The Best In The Series

Mass Effect Andromeda

If there's one area where Andromeda unquestionably improves upon its predecessors, it's the combat. The addition of the jetpack combined with superior AI creates a far more intense, frantic and varied combat experience for the most part, allowing more fluid movement than ever before, with a heavy focus on tactics given the huge number of enemies the game will throw at the player before granting them a checkpoint.

Though the cover system isn't always perfect, the general feeling of refinement makes the game's action leagues ahead of what the franchise has served up before, and for all BioWare might throw away from Andromeda, the combat suite sure shouldn't be among it.
