Mass Effect Andromeda: 9 Overlooked Positives Nobody Wants To Admit

7. The Characters Grow On You

If you only played the pre-release EA Access trial of Andromeda, nobody can blame you for feeling rather underwhelmed by the game's array of characters, but thankfully, those who hang in there will probably grow much more fond of their rag-tag team.

They may not reach the highs of the original trilogy and there are a few sure stinkers in there like Foster "My face is tired" Addison and the horrid big bad The Archon, but the initially irritating Peebee becomes a genuinely loveable character later on, and Krogan Nakmor Drack is a bada** scene-stealer pretty much any time he speaks.

Imperfect as they are, your team will probably win over players who dig in for the long haul, and considering the game's myriad narrative missteps, that's quite an achievement.
