Mass Effect Andromeda Launch Trailer: 22 Things You Must See

The big baddies of the Andromeda universe, the Kett are the species who you probably won’t be sweet talking into being friends with. Concept art has given us a rough idea of what to expect from them, but other than the Archon, we haven’t really been given a closer look at them.

Well, until now.

There is a remarkable difference between the Kett foot soldiers and Archon himself and there is a theory as to why, but we’ll get on to that a little later.

The trailer also revealled another interesting fact about the Kett.

“They are visitors. Just like us.”

Alec Ryder says, implying that they are not natives of the Andromeda galaxy, although Bioware have refused to confirm or deny the speculation. This probably comes at an early point in the game, since Alec Ryder is seen with both his son/daughter and Cora, likely occuring during a first encounter with the Kett and when he is still the Pathfinder.

Be prepared to come face to face with a fair few of these guys, because it doesn’t look like they want to make friends either.
