7. Young Psycho Mantis
Lots of speculation abounds about who the shadowy figure wearing the gas mask is that we can briefly spot in the trailer. Initially, it appears that the character is a young woman, though my suspicion is that, in fact, the character is a young boy - given the tendency for petite women and young boys to have a similar body type, especially in baggy clothing like this - and moreover, it is a young Psycho Mantis. The age would certainly line up, as we know that Mantis was born around 1970, and this game will presumably be set in the late 1970s to early 80s, putting Mantis at around the age of 10-12. Given how well noted Kojima is for not only doing homages to himself but also including younger versions of popular characters, it would be superb to see Mantis causing mayhem as a young'un. Plus, it'd be a convenient way to explain all of the supernatural imagery we've seen so far.
