Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - 11 Easter Eggs True Fans Will Love

5. Logos

During the opening cinematic of Ground Zeroes, Skull Face uses a light of sorts that wipes away an XOF insignia completely from a helicopter. Players can perform something similar in the aforementioned Deja Vu mission - which is again exclusive to the PlayStation versions of the game - with the starting assault rifle and its attached flashlight. Throughout Camp Omega in the Deja Vu mission are various logos of different Metal Gear Solid games, ranging from obscure titles such as Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel, to classic entries such as Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, to more recent entries such as last year's spin-off title Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. And just like the XOF helicopter insignia, aiming a flashlight over these insignias will cause them to fade away as well. You can also use the directional microphone on the logos which prompts Miller to deliver random quips regarding each game. If you erase all of the insignias you will hear Psycho Mantis talk about how you must love games by Hideo Kojima. And let's be realistic, we all do.
