Metal Gear Solid V: Ranking The Missions From Worst To Best

14. Hunting Down (Episode 26)

Overview: Locate and eliminate the human trafficker who is on the run on the savanna. Reports suggest that locating the target will not be easy. And here's where the mission variety in our list truly begins to ramp up. This seems like a garden variety assassination mission at first, but there's a twist: you don't know where the mark is, and his projected location is a wide area. If you pick up the recommended Intel you can make this one easier for yourself by learning that he's on his way to Kiziba Camp, so you can just head to the camp's entrance and begin scoping the enemies out, of which there are a lot. Getting a fix on him while keeping your cover in tact requires surprising skill amid the sea of soldiers, but it's so satisfying when you finally find him and can just lay waste. Firing a rocket launcher into his face is particularly gratifying if you're not interested in an extraction. Either way, once it's done, you're going to want to high-tail it out of there, and be grateful that this is the last time the game will ever make you visit that damn camp where the Skulls may have traumatised you...
