Square Enix dropped another bomb during the show, that the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy - comprising Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - will join Xbox backwards compatibility on November 13, complete with the expected Xbox One X enhancements.

Though FFXIII and its two spin-offs aren't exactly held up among the greater entries into the franchise, it's still neat to see them getting this level of support.

This is in addition to the previous announcement that Final Fantasy VII, IX, X, X-2, and XII: The Zodiac Age will also become available on Xbox One (along with Nintendo Switch) sometime next year.
