Perhaps the most interesting thing about the nemesis system is the effect itll have on repeat gameplay, because while the general storyline will always be the same, the orc hierarchy will be randomly generated each time. This means that no players will have the same exact experience as any other during the course of the game and it also increases the replayability of the title as itll be different each time. It also means that gamer might get rather attached to the orc that theyve kept on a leash yet removed all the opponents in its path to becoming a fearsome warboss and perhaps miss them on the second run-through of the campaign as the console generates a whole different bunch of orcs to track down and decapitate. But it is a feature that isnt shown by any other title out there right now and it might just cause Shadow of Mordors competitors to sit back and think about what they could do with a similar type of structure in their games too. Certainly the features of the latest Middle-earth game should get the genre gamer interested even if its only until the new Assassins Creed titles come out three weeks later. So what do you think is Shadow of Mordor a must buy for you during October this year? Are you impressed by what it aims to offer, or do you think that its just a shadow of other games in the genre?
