Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War - 7 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know

1. Nemesis System Is A Much Bigger Part Of The Game

The biggest selling point of Shadow of Mordor - and the first 'next-gen' feature we saw on new hardware back in 2014 - was the forever-changing Nemesis System, by far the coolest thing about what was always going to be a worthwhile franchise.

Monolith look to be expanding this to be the standout feature of Shadow of War, as a marked point of the leak mentions specific "Nemesis Expansions", including "a new Orc Tribe featuring new enemies, followers, missions, abilities, weapons, Fortress and wilderness updates, and a Mythic Gear Set."

If the scope of the game is predicated on ranking up your own army, expanding it, recruiting more orcs and raiding more Fortresses to dominate the entire open-world map, what was once a component of a larger third-person action/stealth game could turn into the main focus of the sequel.

Time will tell.
