Minecraft 360: 10 Things We Want From The Next Update

7. Ravines

Exploring your Minecraft world is without doubt one of the most important aspects to the game, but the €˜360 version doesn€™t have too much to offer at the moment. More Biomes would be welcome, but also a more diverse landscape. In the current version the most exciting natural feature are the caverns that appear randomly and allow access deep into the rock. Ravines are long, tall breaks in the rock that can go down as much as 50 blocks. They are also very narrow and can be hard to navigate without falling. Once you have been able to find a way to the bottom of a ravine they are a useful feature that allows easy access to lower blocks. They usually contain water or lava at some point, which can be used to fill your buckets or generate some handy obsidian. They also look pretty cool and would be a great place to build a mine around.
