Monster Hunter: World - 10 Best Armour Sets You Must Unlock

3. Xeno'jiiva

Befitting its status as the true endgame set obtainable only after felling Monster Hunter World's final boss, the frilly, alien-like get up pieced together from Xeno'jiiva's remains is good. Too good, you could say.

But it makes sense. Nobody wants the only gear set unlocked post-credits to be immediately invalidated by equipment obtained prior, and there's nothing in the armour's perk tree for Xeno's kit that any wielder of World's 14 weapon types wouldn't want.

For starters, donning just three parts of the set activates Xeno'jiiva's Divinity, halving sharpness loss for ALL weapons (reduces ammo consumption for ranged users), but go further down the Christmas list to find that you're not just immune to knockbacks and tripping from any source (Long Sword users be damned), but every type of elemental blight to boot.

Still not enough? How about boosts to critical damage and a time extension to the powered-up modes of applicable weapons?

Have fun dominating everything in your path.
