Mortal Kombat: 10 Terrible Characters NetherRealm Want You To Forget

3. Mokap

Mokap's no better than Meat; he's the product of the utterly inane decision to turn Johnny Cage's stunt double and motion capture artist into a fully-fledged character. Aside from the obvious impracticality of fighting otherworldly opponents in a skin-tight suit adorned with white bulbs, Mokap (god, that name is just terrible), for some inexplicable reason, can expel fireballs from his hands and perform various energy-based attacks. Because, you know, what motion capture artist doesn't have special powers to help them get through their daily routine? Yes, the very nature of Mortal Kombat demands a certain degree of disbelief suspension, but there's a fine line between contextual logic and outright absurdity. Midway saw that line and then demolished it when they introduced Mokap. Nobody ever wants to see you again.
