Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Gaming Icons Who MUST Guest Star
4. Jack Cayman
A relic of the sixth generation of gaming, Jack Cayman's outing in the Nintendo Wii title MadWorld was one of the console's most memorable and, perfectly suited to the world of Mortal Kombat, brutally violent games. Appearing again only in the game's sequel Anarchy Reigns, it's easy to see why a character only featured in a niche Wii title and a mediocre Xbox 360 and PS3 brawler would be a relative unknown. It's surprising that Jack Cayman has the potential to be one of the most visually interesting fighting game characters of all time.
MadWorld was, for all intents and purposes, a perfectly serviceable 3D brawler. The intense cult following it has, however, was born from the game's striking art style. A game inspired by the high-contrast monochrome art of Frank Miller's Sin City graphic novels, MadWorld is a world of black, white and lots and lots of red.
A video game hero with a very devout cult following, Jack Cayman won't be anywhere near the top of any likely MK 11 guest fighter list. But, should NetherRealm look back a generation or two for inspiration, could find this chainsaw-handed brawler becoming one of the most visually gorgeous fighting game characters of all time.
