Jacqui Briggs is a very similar character to Cassie Cage but where Cassie is fast, Jacqui is slower and more powerful.

And make no mistake about it, Jacqui Briggs is a very powerful character. She can be really good to use for adept players who can close the distance and rack-up a big combo of devastating hits. She just isn't much use in other realms however because she doesn't have much in the way of projectiles or long-distance abilities.

NetherRealm has been really pushing the Special Ops kids in the last two games, trying to make them series regulars. However, fans just aren't taking to all of them. Jacqui could be a more popular character if Jax wasn't in the game. If that were the case though, NetherRealm would need to improve her ranged moveset and make her a more compelling character.

Unlike her friend Cassie Cage, Jacqui is just kinda boring. Why play as her when you could just play as her father or Cassie? She's not a lost cause though, just in need of improvement going forward.
