Mortal Kombat 11: 5 Guest Characters We Want To See
1. Venom
Venom was originally created to be Spider-Man's evil doppelgänger, a perfect combo of Eddie Brock and the symbiote fuelled by their hatred of Peter Parker. Over the years, however, he has become more of an anti-hero.
Eddie Brock isn't exactly a stranger to fighting games - instead he's a playable character in a variety of Marvel games, including several Marvel vs. Capcom titles and Marvel: Contest of Champions.
There is renewed energy around the character. Last year's Venom may not have been your favorite superhero flick, but there's a good chance you paid to see it. The box office take for the movie was enormous, so even though reception was mixed, there is a clear demand for the character.
Functionally, Venom's abilities and demeanor would translate well into the Mortal Kombat universe. If you wanted to sum them up, he's a more powerful Spidey with a high tolerance for violence and an appetite.
Unfortunately, although Venom tops this list, he seems like the least likely to ever join. Of the dozen of games under their title, Marvel has never worked with NetherRealm and we can't see that changing anytime soon.
Still, this is a wishlist and Venom has a place at the top.
