3. Brian Thompson - Shao Kahn
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation saw the invasion of Earthrealm spearheaded by Outworld's Shao Kahn. While the character wasn't given as fearsome or powerful a a role that he has in the video games (though he did kill Johnny Cage which was a nice surprise), Brian Thompson was a decent enough Shao Kahn despite the character's daddy issues.
After getting bested by Liu Kang, Brian Thompson continued his run in The X-Files. He also appeared in many blink-and-you’ll-miss-him-roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Baywatch, Birds of Prey, Californication, and Star Trek: Enterprise.
Most fans, however, are quick to spot him as Buffalo Bob in Joe Dirt.
Thompson is still consistently working though, appearing as of late in 9-1-1 and The Orville. Expect to see his face pop up in other miscellaneous TV shows for the foreseeable future.
