4. Mileena (Ethereal)
I'm not sure which genius at NetherRealm created Mileena's Ethereal variant, but they clearly had no idea what they were doing when doing so. Aside from the variation's universal Ball Roll attack (even that is punishable if blocked), there's nothing dangerous about Ethereal whatsoever. The mechanic for this one revolves around Mileena's ability to throw her Sai daggers at several varying distances and then teleporting to them for a follow-up combo. Sounds wicked cool, right? It's not. The trade-off for such a versatile array of attacks is the removal of several of Mileena's special attacks, meaning your main method of dealing damage is through 'normals'. Normally, that'd be fine, but Mileena's basic attacks do squat - being jabbed by a pencil would hurt more. At this point, I feel it's not particularly necessary to mention that her teleports are punishable if blocked, but hey, if you were looking for just one thing to make her worth playing, there isn't. Sorry.
