Mortal Kombat X: 10 Overpowered Characters Who Need Downgrading

1. Erron Black (Marksman & Outlaw)

So you've been matched against an Erron Black player, huh? If you haven't chosen a character with the ability to teleport, then you may as well just give up right now. Black's zoning game is so impenetrable that trying to get in close for some damage is nigh on impossible to the point that you need to have the ability to instantly materialise right next to him or you're screwed. Yeah, there's the obvious threat of his guns to contend with, but Black's got far more than just his six-shooters to keep you at arm's length. So versatile is the character, that unless you're playing a heavy hitter like Goro, you can just rush in with Black's long range grapples and kicks that, more often than not, bluff your opponent into using the incorrect block due to how similar their start-ups look. Outworld's most famous outlaw clinches the number one spot because he's too good. Competing against a character that excels at all types of play with little to no weakness is just not fun. But hey, this is the same franchise that spawned Shao Kahn, so I can't say I'm surprised. Let us know the most overpowered character in the comments, and if you'd like to write for the Gaming section, set up and account and contribute!
