Mortal Kombat X: 10 Overpowered Characters Who Need Downgrading

5. Kung Jin (Bojutsu)

Kung Jin's not the first resident of the MK series to utilise a weapon in combat, but his bow is certainly the cheapest. Despite the fact that using a bow in a real close quarters combat situation could quite possibly be one of the dumbest decisions you could ever make, Kung Jin's personal arrow shooter is special because of, you know, magic and stuff. Besides, it's more a Swiss Army knife of death than a real bow. Jin's ability to mix-up his approach to a fight is terrifyingly effective in handling almost any single combatant he comes up against. Magic arrows can catch faraway ground or aerial opponents and, if they get in close, you've got a huge repertoire of combos available that utilise the bow as a club to whack sense into those foolish enough to think they can win. Annoyingly, Jin's not even particularly powerful - he'll just slowly whittle your health down until you get frustrated and careless, and there's nothing you can do about it.
