Super Mario 64 is absolutely essential for the N64 Mini. Besides the fact that the game itself has terrific worlds, fantastic music and some of the most timeless gameplay in the series, Super Mario 64 is also one of the most iconic games on the console. Mario 64 is also the best selling game on the console, meaning it'd be pretty stupid to miss it out.

What makes Super Mario 64 so great? The combination of fantastic controls, massively explorable worlds and pitch perfect platforming is unlike any other game on the console. With Super Mario Odyssey just around the corner, it's the perfect time to take a look back at one of gaming's best.

Out of all of the games on this list, Super Mario 64 is one of the only ones that is undeniably going to feature on the N64 Mini. It would be practically criminal to miss it out.
