The Timberwolves have seemingly read the blueprint on increasing their 2K rating, and followed it to the letter. Their 2015/16 roster consists of the number one draft pick, a solid secondary rookie (point guard of the NCAA Championship winning team), an ageing legend whose in-game stats will surely outstrip his actual capabilities, and the most exciting slam dunk champion in years. It remains to be seen how draft picks Karl-Anthony Towns and Tyus Jones will fare in the NBA, but their 2K16 stats are sure to be slightly inflated due to expectation. Similarly, the returning Kevin Garnett falls into the key bracket of an ageing all-time great, a player who probably won't see his numbers decrease as much they should. Zach LaVine's dunk contest performance earlier this year will see his virtual ability go through the roof, at least on the offensive side of the court.
