The often-jerky post system has apparently been completely revamped for NBA 2K16, with developers reporting that it feels "as though you have complete control over your player at all times". This will be a relief for wannabe big men out there, as although tussling with opponents in the paint was sometimes an effective tactic last year, it felt (and looked) noticeably less smooth than other aspects of the game. Key words here also include "smooth" and "free", with 2K stressing the fact that battling down low is about to become just as fun as raining in three pointers or slicing to the rim. A slight concern I have is that the focus appears to be entirely on offensive play. Will the defending player be given as much fluidity and freedom as their ball-carrying counterpart, or will the post become an area for cheap, easy scoring?
