1. The Return Of Online Leagues!
The biggest feature revealed for 2K16 is unquestionably the return of online league mode. Branded MyLEAGUE Online, the game mode will allow the creation of 30-team leagues, in which any number can be controlled by the CPU or a human player. It will also boast a full fantasy draft and a variety of setup options (including difficulty sliders, amount of fixtures, and so on). Flex scheduling will allow any game on the calendar to be played at any time, bypassing the difficulties that would naturally arise among 30 friends playing out a full league campaign together. Custom roster support allows for the inclusion of legendary players, if the league organisers so wish. All in all, it looks to be a fantastic addition to the game, one which was initially suspected to be too heavily focused upon MyCareer mode. Instead, 2K have brought back online leagues with a vengeance, a move which could potentially even overshadow Spike Lee's involvement. Either way, this news is sure to spark even further excitement among NBA 2K's fanbase - and could well attract a sizeable new audience too, such is the impressive, accessible nature of these features.
