Mike Conley's 85 rating seems to be a triumph of consistency over anything else. Although never a player likely to set the league on fire, he has been an incredibly solid presence for the Memphis Grizzlies for the entirety of his eight-season career so far. Despite his decent figures (including a career average of 13.4 points and 5.6 assists per game), Conley's rating is perhaps the most confusing on this list. He is among rather illustrious company, yet doesn't quite have the ability to take over a game with the same frequency as every player around him.
