The most talked about rating in all of NBA 2K16, and one of the most hotly-debated ratings in any sports game ever - Kobe Bryant's 85 rating sparked social media outraged, and had words like "respect", "longevity", and "GOAT" thrown around with reckless abandon. Now that the dust has cleared, allow me to say that I think Kobe's 85 is completely fair. It demonstrates his undoubted (but gradually diminishing ability); the man's hardly been plonked in the 70s for goodness' sake. He's still the fifth best shooting guard in the game, which is probably an accurate reflection of his shrinking status in the real-life NBA too.
