NBA 2K20 Demo Launch Date Announced

Get the early jump on MyCAREER...

NBA 2K20

Anyone excited about 2K's next slice of basketball goodness will be delighted to learn that NBA 2K20's demo will land on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 21 August. The only platform the demo won't be available on is PC.

The demo will let players get the jump on their MyCAREER journey. This year's game features a brand new builder that fans will be able to play around with before the game launches in full on 6 September. That's not the only thing you'll be able to do in the demo.

After building a new MyPLAYER, you'll be able to test your creation on the court and see which style works best before diving headfirst into a career when 2K20 comes out.

Add this to the list of things gamers already know about 2K20. Last year's demo allowed everyone a glimpse at the Prelude story mode by letting them play through a chapter or two once, but that doesn't appear to be part of plans this time.

Full focus is on the different MyPLAYER templates and how they're implemented during the actual games themselves.
