Neflix's Castlevania: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
3. Dracula Vlad Ţepeş
Concluding this section on the Ţepeş family is the show's main antagonist himself, the legendary Dracula.
First and foremost, much like both his late wife and estranged son, Dracula walks and talks with unmitigated swagger and charisma. Moreover, fitting right in with the source material, Netflix's Castlevania portrays Dracula in a more sympathetic light. We see his believable motivations and pain unfold before our very eyes. In fact, the scene where he is crying tears of blood following the loss of his wife is easily one of the most moving in the entire season.
However, that isn't to say that Dracula isn't exceptionally ruthless as well, because he most certainly is. This is made clear the moment his horde begins tearing their way through the citizens of Wallachia, not to mention when he strikes down his own son for attempting to stop him.
You may be able to sympathize with Vlad, but make no mistake, Dracula is a bonafide villain who is frequently and rightfully compared to Satan himself. Every second he is on screen, he commands the viewer's attention. And even though he's all but absent for the rest of the season, his influence is still palpable.
