NES Mini: 6 Things We Learned From Nintendo's Livestream
4. Multiple Rendering Filters
For those of us with a love of CRT and a permanent grain to our games, the NES mini has the ability to switch between different display "filters".
CRT - Gives the games that real 80's feel, simulating a CRT tv. Important to note the word "simulating" in this sentence, no excessive lines here.
4:3 - Does what it says on the tin. 4:3 aspect ratio.
Pixel Perfect - Apparently providing the exact 1:1 scale of pixels from cartridge to screen, making games look clearer but slightly different in proportion to what you may be used to.
