New Developer Insight for Ninja Gaiden 3
Look out for Ninja Gaiden 3 March 20th in the US, and March 23 in the UK.
Team Ninja recently updated their official Ninja Gaiden 3 site today, with two new developer diaries, as well as new screens from the game. Discussing how the video game marketplace is flooded with FPS games presently, they've taken the focus back to up close and personal combat. Trying to shed even more light on just how powerful of a weapon that the katana truly is. It's strength lying in the power of cutting to an enemies bone as well as not being able to rely on the distance that a gun provides. With a lack of hack and slash games on the market Team Ninja is striving for innovation in their gameplay, and discovering new ways to bring change while maintaining the same core design that makes a true Ninja Gaiden experience. Interactivity within the levels now can play a greater role, as well as enemies reacting differently to Hayabusa's attacks. For those of us who got our asses kicked by previous versions of Ninja Gaiden, they have implemented the new "Hero Mode". This difficulty is not simply an easy mode, but more a way for the more casual player to find some assistance while they find their way as a ninja. Go ahead and check em' out for yourself.
