New Pokémon Snap: 8 Confirmed Gameplay Details

Snap on the N64 only featured Pokemon from the first 151, with 63 available to photograph. This year's game will feature over 200 from multiple generations, all the way from gen 1 - like Pikachu - up to the newest additions found in Sword and Shield, such as starter Scorbunny.

Nearly 100 different species have been confirmed to feature in Snap, but we may have to wait until the release to find out exactly who else will be included. There will also be different forms of some Pokemon in the game such as Alolan Raichu, which also should keep players coming back for more.

With over 800 Pokemon now having being released in total Nintendo will have the option post-release to add additional content and potentially new ones to capture on camera.

In a game with Snap's design it would be impossible to have every Pokemon available to find, but expect most players favourites to feature.
