Next GEARS OF WAR 3 DLC 'Fenix Rising' Released January 17

The Gears of War 3 DLC will include five new five new battlegrounds for all the different multiplayer modes.

Epic Games announced today that they will have the next DLC for the final installment of the Gears of the War franchise ready by January 17th and it will be called Fenix Rising. The Gears of War 3 DLC will include five new five new battlegrounds for all the different multiplayer modes. In addition, the DLC will include a new experience system that will allow players to reset their level and "Re-up" as you play through the game again. Finally, the Fenix Rising DLC will include several new skins for players to use "Gear recruit Clayton, Cole Train in a Thrashball uniform, as well as savage marauder and kantu skins." The DLC will run you 800 Microsoft points or about $10 (US) or you can purchase the Gears of War 3 Season Pass for 2,400 Microsoft Points $30 (US) that will allow you to buy all four pieces of Gears 3 DLC for a savings of $15 (US). Fenix Rising DLC is the third piece of DLC out of four that have been planned for Gears of War 3.
