NFL 2K21: 10 Things Fans Want To See

1. Real Madden Competition

Madden 20
EA Sports

Above all else, every gamer who's ever picked up a controller to play any NFL game should want 2K's reboot to succeed. If they do, then the pressure will be on EA to improve Madden. That, as anyone who dotes on the series annually will tell you, is very much a good thing.

Competition is always positive.

EA need to be stirred from their slumbers. Madden isn't a bad game by any means, but it's coasting, and the company know they can plop out the next entry with minimal improvements and folks will still buy it. It's like an addiction, and it's worrying for those who actually, y'know, like to see some progression in their gaming.

2K need to be some sort of knight in shining armour here. They have the power to beat Madden at its own game, show how arcade football should be done and leave their so-called simulation panting back at the 50-yard line as they rush in for a crowd-pleasing pick six.
