Nintendo NX: 11 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know

1. 2016 Launch Date?

Reports have suggested that gamers could be sitting in front of their new games console by Summer 2016. Digitimes reported back in June that Nintendo had been visiting manufacturers and that Foxconn Electronics will be heavily involved.

It is also claimed that Nintendo expect to ship 20 million units in the first year, and that mass production could get underway as early as May or June next year, paving the way for a summer launch at the earliest, or just in time for Christmas 2016. That would be a quick turn of events, but drastic times call for drastic measures. The quicker Nintendo can move on from the Wii U, the better.
