Nintendo Switch: 10 3DS & DS Games We NEED To See

6. Hotel Dusk: Room 215

Hotel Dusk and its sequel are interactive visual novels with puzzle solving gameplay. But this is a far more sombre affair than its contemporaries. Thanks to the beautiful graphics, which use a grey pencil on paper design for the characters and colour backgrounds. The story's really immersive too.

It's no surprise it didn't set any world records, it's heavy reliance on text and detective work would make it fairly niche to begin with plus at times it's way too cryptic for its own good.

A second chance could easily help alleviate those problems whilst an HD upgrade would help it set itself apart even in today's market of high-end graphics and textures. Either way, it makes for perfect handheld gaming, particularly having access to a touch screen when hunting for clues.

The sequel needs a special mention too as it only got a very limited release so a bundle wouldn't be too bad in order to boost sales.
