Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers - Everything You Need To Know

3. Nintendo Gold Points Can Be A Big Help

Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers

Nintendo Gold Points are extremely underrated. Every time you purchase a Nintendo Switch game, you get 5% back of what you paid. For example, buying a game that's $59.99 will get you about 300 Gold Points back. The purpose of Gold Points is also related to making purchases.

When you buy something on the eShop, you can apply Gold Points to reduce its price. Each Gold Point counts as one cent, penny etc. Gold Points expire about 12 months after they're bought, so you're encouraged to spend them while you can.

If you haven't bought a Nintendo Switch Online membership yet, you could use gold points to reduce the price of one. A one-month membership is only $3.99. If you have 400 Gold Points, you could get that for free! Just purchasing the vouchers will get you 500 Gold Points back. Heck, you might even be able to use the Gold Points on the vouchers.

Gold Points are the most unique aspect of the eShop, and they don't get nearly enough coverage. Using even just a few of your Gold Points for every other purchase could end up saving you a lot in the long run.
