Nintendo Switch Reveal: 9 Ups & 10 Downs
Not the mic drop we hoped for.
Well, that happened.
Almost three months after the Nintendo Switch was first unveiled, fans have finally been granted a more in-depth look at the nature of the console-handheld hybrid and what it has to offer.
The results are a massively mixed bag, in honesty, and even the hardcore crowd will surely agree that this isn't the hot start most fans were hoping for.
For every alluring game announcement and promising piece of tech, there was something that felt antiquated or off, as though Nintendo's a company at once trying to look to the future while remaining painfully stuck in the past.
Above all else, the presentation just doesn't instill much faith that the Switch is going to be a successful rebound for Nintendo, and could very well end up selling just marginally better than the Wii U. As ever, though, time will tell.
