4. Scion And Casual - Hanzo's Before And After
This might be a little cheat, but these two skins are so thematically tied together that they both needed mentioning. While Hanzo has had more visually stunning outfits, such as his Kabuki and Okami skins, Scion and Casual are unique in both design and lore relevance for the typically anachronistic archer.
Casual debuted in the Reflections comic, which contains the first appearance of Soldier's ex, Vincent; Widowmaker visiting her husband's grave; Reaper secretly watching a seemingly normal family, and Tracer kissing her girlfriend. This was the first time anyone had seen Hanzo in modern clothing, looking surprisingly at peace and happy.
People begged for a year for "casual Hanzo" as a skin, and it eventually came - though due to fan backlash, they had to change his hair and thick beard from old and white to the black and modern seen in the comic.
Scion, on the other hand, drove fans nuts once again. Hundreds upon thousands of artworks of Hanzo in a tailored businessman's suit had already graced the internet due to his past as a crime lord, and Overwatch delivered with this sleek, fitted piece that's remarkably unique, and a glimpse into Hanzo's criminal past.
