The unsung hero of Overwatch, Zarya never gets the credit she deserves when it comes to ranking the game's best characters.
Perhaps because she's a bit lacking in the personality department when compared to other heroes on the roster, Zarya often gets overlooked when players are picking a team in a multiplayer match - which is a travesty because she's one of the best tactical characters on the roster.
Having a primary weapon that can wipe out an enemy's health bar surprisingly fast, Zarya also boasts the ability to shield herself or a friendly teammate from incoming fire, allowing her to push that bit further across enemy lines.
Her already large health pool means that she can continue to dole out damage even when other heroes are falling too, while the alternate fire of her laser cannon can be perfect for attacking enemies grouped together or larger tanks.
Zarya can change the face of a match in an instant, and it's a shame that most new players don't give her a enough of a chance when they first boot the game up.
