1. The Crowd
This is undoubtedly an issue for FIFA just as much as PES, though perhaps more of an obvious fault for PES given its numerous deficiencies. The lack of detail on the crowds creates a formulaic and mechanical atmosphere, even when playing huge games in competitions such as the Champions League. Throughout the match all you get is one long, droning sound that barely resembles a coherent collection of supporters. They also look terrible. The majority wear the same things, do the same hand gestures, and look identical. Id love to see a bit more character and personality added to the crowd, it would build up a more engaging atmosphere and make you want to play before any whistle has even been blown.
